Responsibilities

• Lead with purpose: Supervise and mentor the regional proposal team, setting strategy and offering guidance to help craft winning proposals and qualifications that highlight our local talent and expertise.
• Own the pursuit process: Oversee all aspects of proposal development and delivery, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with RFP requirements and CED brand standards.
• Be the voice of the region- Shape regional messaging and marketing content that speaks to the unique value we bring to Arizona communities.
• Bridge strategy and storytelling: Collaborate with local project managers and technical experts to develop compelling narratives that reflect both the technical excellence and client-focused solutions we're known for.
• Engage the market: Help identify new opportunities by tracking RFPs/RFQs and supporting local business development efforts.
• Support beyond proposals: Represent CED at regional events, ensure brand consistency across digital and print materials, and help elevate the firm's visibility across Arizona and surrounding markets.
• Connect with corporate: Share insights, tools, and regional successes with our broader marketing team, supporting firmwide consistency while celebrating the stories that make the Arizona team unique.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of marketing experience and/or creating proposals for a professional services firm.
• Prior experience with proposals and business development in the AEC industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Unanet (CRM) a plus but not required.
• 1+ years of experience with InDesign.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
• A passion for leading and mentoring marketing teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A collaborative spirit and a strategic mind able to connect marketing tactics to broader business goals.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a sharp eye for quality and detail.
• A deep appreciation for AEC services and the role we play in shaping communities.
• Familiarity with proposal development processes and a desire to raise the bar.
• Ability to travel within the region and represent CED proudly.
