Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support middle school students with emotional and behavioral challenges affecting their participation in the general curriculum. This contract position spans the new school year, offering 7.25-hour workdays across a standard five-day week. The role begins on August 19 and extends through May 30.

Setting : Middle School

Caseload : Approximately 6 students

School sites : 1

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to middle school students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual student needs while promoting access to the general curriculum.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to effectively meet diverse student requirements.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and support personnel to foster a positive educational environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to enhance outcomes.
