Job description

Our client is currently seeking an Operations Manager for their facility in Georgia. They are seeking a strong leader with a strategic operational mindset.

Salary : $135,000 - $165,000 + 12% Bonus

$35,000 budgeted relocation assistance

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide daily performance reviews and production walk-throughs to monitor and improve operations.
  • Apply Lean tools (Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, 8D) to resolve issues and boost efficiency.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and employee involvement.
  • Oversee safety practices, training programs, and compliance reviews.
  • Manage KPIs, budgets, staffing, and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with planning, maintenance, quality, and customer teams to meet delivery goals and reduce downtime.
  • Support union relations and participate in leadership meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in 3-piece design / manufacturing processes.
  • Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
  • 5+ years in operations, process improvement, or engineering leadership.
  • Background in Lean environments; Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with high-speed manufacturing, metal forming, and injection molding.
  • Strong customer-facing and commercial experience.
