Responsible for the daily operations of the Inventory and Distribution Department. Hire and supervise staff. Participate in education and training activities. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures in the work area and always use applicable protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially infectious blood and body fluids. Provide support, development, and / or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities include operational leadership, team management, scheduling and workflow oversight, compliance and documentation, inventory and distribution, quality assurance, and technical expertise. Normal hours are Mon-Friday day shift, but includes rotational on-call to cover the site after hours and weekends for orders and CAMS alarms. Little travel other than for training, leadership meetings. On-call every 3rd week after hours, holidays, and weekends for customer orders and CAMS alarms.
Compensation : Starting salary of $59,580-$99,270.
What You Need to Succeed : Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Knowledge of blood products and supplies. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Note : A combination of education and experience may satisfy requirements, provided the total years meet the minimum. Management experience cannot be substituted.
