Job description

About the Role :

The Area Coach plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and team development across multiple store locations within the Phoenix area. This position is responsible for ensuring that each store meets and exceeds company standards in customer service, sales performance, and operational efficiency. The Area Coach will work closely with store managers and their teams to implement strategic initiatives, provide coaching and training, and foster a positive and productive work environment. By analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement, the Area Coach helps to optimize store operations and enhance overall business results. Ultimately, this role is essential in supporting the growth and success of the stores under their supervision while maintaining alignment with the company's goals and values.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience, including supervising multiple teams or locations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving operational performance.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between store locations.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working as an Area Coach or District Manager in a restaurant environment.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Leadership development or coaching methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and use data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in employee recruitment, retention, and conflict resolution.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Visit assigned stores regularly to observe operations, provide hands-on coaching, and support store managers in achieving sales and service goals.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to develop leadership skills and operational knowledge among store management and staff.
  • Analyze store performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers to implement company policies, merchandising standards, and promotional activities effectively.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to store teams to enhance customer experience, improve employee engagement, and drive business results.
  • Skills :

    The Area Coach utilizes strong leadership and interpersonal skills daily to build rapport with store managers and their teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting sales data and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted action plans. Effective communication skills enable the Area Coach to deliver clear guidance, training, and feedback that drive performance enhancements. Time management and organizational skills are critical for balancing visits to multiple store locations and managing various projects simultaneously. Additionally, problem-solving abilities help the Area Coach address challenges proactively and implement solutions that support both employee development and business growth.
