Join the Parker Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division as a Mechanical Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects.
- Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors.
- Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed.
- Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.Hands-On Skills : Strong experience in mechanical systems design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.Communication : Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities.Interpersonal Skills : Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.Travel : Willingness to travel occasionally to Parker facilities, local universities, and suppliers.
