About The Role :
We’re on the look out for a super talented Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our systems' peak performance and reliability. You will focus on how our software interacts with both physical and Cloud infrastructures, thus providing exceptional messaging solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitoring systems to maintain high levels of performance through analysis and tuning
- Implementing scalability and fault tolerance into our solutions
- Automating processes to drive operational efficiencies
- Troubleshooting application and middleware issues
- Collaborating with engineering teams to enhance production environments handling high-throughput
- Developing and maintaining robust deployment pipelines for seamless code delivery
What You'll Bring :
Experience with Microsoft AzureStrong expertise in Terraform, App Services, and KubernetesFluent in written and spoken EnglishA solid passion for reliability and operational excellenceHands-on experience in creating and modifying Terraform deploymentsPrevious operations experience, ideally in a Site Reliability Engineer roleAbility to effectively collaborate across multiple teams, take ownership of tasks, and prioritize effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with monitoring solutions such as Datadog, Azure Application Insights, or Log AnalyticsProficiency in scripting / programming for automation, especially in PowerShell (preferred), Bash, C#, Ruby, or PythonExperience supporting web-based applicationsIt’s desirable for you to have :
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelinesFamiliarity with Microsoft Server Operating SystemsUnderstanding of service level objectives and operational requirements for cloud-based solutionsDeep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud offerings, particularly in PaaS (Web Apps, Storage, Functions)Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, VSTS, ARM, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, ELK, and GrafanaUnderstanding of DNS, Load Balancer configuration, Active Directory, and cloud-based infrastructureExperience working in an agile environment, particularly with methodologies such as TDD, Scrum, or KanbanKnowledge of implementing monitoring and alerting systems for microservice architecturesApplied understanding of cloud security best practicesWhat We Offer :
