We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Oncologist capable of managing a broad spectrum of benign and malignant conditions including gastric, colorectal, sarcoma, cutaneous malignancies, and endocrine tumors. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing a variety of general surgical procedures as needed. While experience or a strong interest in hepatobiliary surgery is considered an asset, it is not a requirement for this position. This role demands a commitment to comprehensive cancer care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care at a tertiary referral center.
Surgical Care :
Perform oncologic surgeries for a wide range of cancers, including colorectal, gastric, sarcomas, cutaneous malignancies, and endocrine tumor
Develop individualized surgical plans tailored to patient needs, utilizing both general and specialized oncologic techniques
Provide general surgical support as necessary to meet patient and practice demands.
Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations including detailed histories, physical exams, and review of diagnostic imaging and tests
Manage post-operative care, focusing on complication management, recovery optimization, and patient education regarding cancer treatment and prevention.
Collaborate closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
Serve as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team including oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and nursing staff to deliver cohesive patient care.
Effectively communicate with patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, and expected outcomes.
Clinical and Academic Contributions :
Engage in clinical trials aimed at advancing surgical oncology techniques and improving patient outcomes.
Participate in teaching and mentoring surgical oncology fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers to support ongoing education and development in cancer care.
Schedule : Full-time, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm

Required Training : General Surgery Residency and Oncology Fellowship
