Civil Engineer (Plainsboro)

SUMMARY

You'll contribute to all project phases from planning and design through construction oversight while working collaboratively with local and state agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support design efforts for transportation and roadway infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed civil design drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and related tools.
• Conduct field evaluations and site inspections to gather data and verify existing conditions.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, track progress, and produce regular project status reports.
• Perform engineering analyses, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for proposals and bid documents.
• Implement QA / QC procedures to ensure compliance with local and state design standards.
• Coordinate with municipalities and transportation departments to align project goals and deliverables.
• Review and interpret field data, specifications, and reports to optimize project outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges.
