Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Pay Range : $1,530 - $1,640 per week ER RN Job Details – Asheville, NC Location : Asheville, North Carolina 28801 Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job Start Date : December 28, 2025 End Date : March 29, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Unit Size : 101 beds Patient Ratios : 4 : 1 (medical), up to 7 : 1 (ED behavioral holds) Team Environment : Supportive healthcare staff, techs, and unit clerks available days and nights Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state) Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an Emergency Room Experience in a Level II trauma center or high-volume emergency department (100,000 visits / year) preferred Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS ENPC certification within 90 days of hire Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED Professionalism and commitment to positive patient experience (AIDET, respectful behavior, patient updates) Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy emergency department Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions Utilize advanced medical equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors Document patient care using Cerner EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (navy scrubs) Participate in ongoing nursing education and training Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed Why Choose Asheville for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
