Status : Part-time, 40 hours per pay period

Summary :

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include :

RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years nursing experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN. This position is a Part-time position with Variable hours.

ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Education :

Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma

Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience :

Required includes 1 years acute care experience or 1 years Interventional / Procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or Interventional / Procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment

Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional / Perioperative Internship
