Gastroenterology Physician

Position Details

Setting : Outpatient endoscopy centers (Newton Southborough, Worcester, Marlborough)

Start Date : Targeting November 1, 2025 (credentialing days)

Duration : 1 year

Shifts Available : Monday Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Shift Volume : cases / day

Shifts Per Provider : Full-time coverage preferred; open to multiple physicians to share schedule

Call : None

Orientation : Virtual meeting with one of the GI physicians

Practice & Facility Information

Work Environment : Outpatient endoscopy / ASC settings (no inpatient or ER call)

Support Staff : Full procedural support team, anesthesia coverage provided

EMR System : UMass standard EMR (Epic, confirm at credentialing)

Telehealth : Not applicable

Malpractice : Covered

Credentialing : Required at UMass Medical Center and Marlborough Hospital (to practice across affiliated centers)

Certifications Required

MD / DO

GI Fellowship (Board Certified)

Active MA License (or willing to obtain)

ACLS (standard for endoscopy)
