We are seeking an experienced Billing Clerk to support our oil and gas operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing processes. This role is critical to revenue integrity and customer satisfaction and requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration across multiple departments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-specific billing platforms and a strong understanding of ticket verification, invoicing, and customer billing requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Review and verify field tickets for accuracy and completeness
Identify billing discrepancies and work directly with department heads to resolve issues
Process both in-house and third-party tickets for customer billing
Prepare, generate, and distribute accurate invoices in a timely manner
Serve as a primary point of contact for billing-related inquiries, providing professional and efficient customer service
Maintain detailed billing records and customer files in accordance with company policies and audit standards
Document billing activities and ensure proper record retention
Collaborate closely with Dispatch, Operations, and other billing staff to streamline workflows and improve billing efficiency
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive company and customer information
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of billing experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry
Experience using one or more of the following platforms:

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to self-manage workload while meeting deadlines
Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments
