Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nurse

Location : Pittsfield, MA 01201 (Berkshires region)

Healthcare Setting : 8-bed Operating Room Unit

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (October 18, 2025 – January 17, 2026)

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (10-hour days)

Hours per Week : 40 guaranteed

On-Call : Rotational

Holiday Coverage : Required (must be available for two major holidays during assignment)

Dress Code : Facility-provided scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $3,030–$3,250 per week

Qualifications – Operating Room RN Jobs in Massachusetts

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Active Massachusetts RN license

Current CNOR certification (Certified Nurse Operating Room)

Current BLS certification (AHA)

Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred

Must have own vehicle for transportation

Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)

COVID-19 vaccination (dose date on or after 10 / 3 / 23) or approved exemption required

At least 1 year of experience required

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care as a First Assist in the Operating Room

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and healthcare standards

Participate in on-call rotation and provide holiday coverage as required

Support patient and family education throughout the surgical process

Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
