About The Position

Location : Manhattan, New York, USA Specialty : Wound Care Type : Travel Schedule : 5x8s Days Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Travel Nurse - Wound Care RN for a travel assignment in Manhattan, NY. This opportunity offers $4,100 per week for 40 hours, scheduled as 5x8s day shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Wound Care Nurse :

  • Assess, treat, and manage a variety of acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and diabetic ulcers
  • Develop individualized wound care plans and monitor healing progress
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other care providers to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques and preventive strategies
  • Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
  • Travel locally as required to fulfill assignment expectations

    • Requirements of the Travel Wound Care Nurse :

  • Active RN license in New York
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medsurg / Wound Care experience
  • BLS certification required
  • One of the following Wound Care certs are required : CWOCN, CWON, CWCN, CWS or WCC.
  • Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and communication abilities
