  • Required Procedures / Skills :

    • Must be comfortable practicing independently & performing regional blocks.

  • General Anesthesia (Adult / Ped), Spinal, Epidural, Neurosurgical cases (spine), Complex orthopedic cases.
  • Ventilation mgmt. & Evaluation & mgmt of acute volume / BP issues.
  • Beds in the Dept : 250
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Required to Supervise APPs : Yes
  • Other Info : Training for blocks will not be provided.
  • Temporary Privileges available : Yes
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

    • Requirements :

  • Active NM License or reactivating.
  • BC
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • DEA
  • Case Logs (blocks).
  • At least 1 yr of experience.
  • Must live 90+ miles from the facility.
  • Willing to work weekends & take call.
  • Enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COIs.
  • Can do Ped Dentistry & Ultrasound Guided Regional (preferred).
