Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Insurance Verification and Authorization Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining pre-authorizations, and ensuring that all necessary information is provided to healthcare providers and insurance companies to facilitate timely and accurate billing. You will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth processing of insurance claims and patient care services.

Key Responsibilities :

Insurance Verification :

Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for both primary and secondary policies.

• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain accurate and up-to-date information regarding patient coverage.
• Confirm eligibility for specific services, procedures, or treatments with the insurance provider.
• Address discrepancies or issues with insurance coverage and work with the billing team to resolve them.

Authorization Management :

Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies for medical services, procedures, or treatments as required.

Documentation & Compliance :

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all verification and authorization activities in the system.
