As a Community Relations Coordinator, you will cultivate relationships with key personnel at new and existing Community Partnerships to maintain Tampa Bay Federal's position as a benefit to the company. Solicit new / potential Community Partnerships and demonstrates the value of a credit union relationship. Support the business plan through community outreach meant to increase members, loans and deposits. Coordinates community events for the credit union. Supports marketing initiatives through social media and online presence.
Community Relations Coordinator Job Responsibilities :
Community Partnerships :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing community partners, acting as the primary liaison between the credit union and these organizations
- Actively seek out and establish new partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and key community leaders that align with the credit union's strategic goals
- Call, visit, and engage with community partners
- Provide with marketing materials and support to enhance collaboration and increase the credit union's presence in the community
- Track, analyze and report results on contact, membership and business growth
Community Engagement :
Actively engage with the community to identify and pursue opportunities for membership growth, focusing on outreach efforts that drive new member acquisitionLeverage community events, partnerships, and local presence to increase membership, deposits, and loan originationsCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams to implement strategies that connect community engagement with tangible business resultsEvents & Financial Education :
Plan, organize, and manage community events that align with the credit union's strategic objectives, including member appreciation events, financial literacy workshops, and outreach programsCoordinate logistics, marketing, and staff involvement to ensure events are successful and effectively promote the credit union's mission and servicesDevelop and deliver financial education initiatives, both in-person and online, to empower members and the community with knowledge on various financial topicsMust be able to routinely perform work indoors and outdoors. Some events will require night (after business hours) and weekend attendance. Must be able to travel around the local Tampa Bay areaSocial Media & Digital Engagement :
Support the credit union's social media strategy by creating and sharing content that highlights community involvement, events, and financial education effortsEngage with members and potential members on social media platforms, responding to inquiries and promoting the credit union's brand and valuesCommunity Relations Coordinator Schedule :
Tuesday through SaturdayCommunity Relations Coordinator Experience :
Six months to two years of similar or related experience in customer service, including time spent in preparatory positionsBilingual (English / Spanish) preferredCommunity Relations Coordinator Education :
