Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join our team at VAMC in Overland Park, Kansas in a full-time capacity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency is preferred
• CNA certification from the state of Kansas is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must have a minimum of six months experience
• Have Hospital and/or public intermediate care facility experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, basic care and supervision to patients and residents at public intermediate care facilities or other treatment facilities
• Perform location checks, both observing and monitoring
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
