Reports to : Directly to Principals and Indirectly to the Director of SEL

Status : Exempt

Minimum Qualifications :

• Licensed Master of Social Work (MSW) under OMH state regulation, able to provide supervision, School Social Worker Certified.
• Trained in Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), evidence-based practices, and clinical theories applied to sessions and classrooms
• Well-versed in handling crisis response and suicidal ideations

Position Description : The School Social Worker provides a range of services to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs. This includes counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, and connecting families with community resources. The School Social Worker collaborates with teachers, administrators, parents, and external agencies to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
