This outpatient clinic is part of a respected healthcare network providing comprehensive pediatric services to the Stevens Point community. The facility features a 10-bed department within a Level 3 trauma center, offering both outpatient services and inpatient care opportunities.

Board Certified - Pediatrics

Job Details :

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage Monday through Friday
• Handle in-patient call needs variably Monday through Friday, with 1-2 weekends per month (minimum 1)
• Manage ventilation for newborns and pediatric patients (both acute and chronic cases)
• Perform intubations for newborns and pediatric patients
• Required skills include non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff)
• Perform circumcisions as needed
• Suture minor lacerations
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs
• Preferred skills include conscious / deep sedation, central / arterial lines, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture
• Additional preferred skills : paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, needle pneumothorax decompression
• Must maintain active Wisconsin medical license or have Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
• Board certification required with BLS and PALS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Low patient volume with 0-1 patient encounters per shift
