Job Summary

This position's primary role is securing biomedical devices and IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) in the UC Davis Health enterprise. Working with partners to design and implement secure device architecture, report on embedded system vulnerabilities, secure network design, and testing. It will be responsible for integrating cybersecurity principles directly into biomedical device operations, risk reporting, and management, along with incident response.
This is a critical role interfacing with biomedical engineering teams, clinical informatics, IT security, incident response, and device manufacturers.

Taking a proactive and comprehensive approach to protecting the organization from cyber risks.
