Resident Assistant (CNA Training)

Rate : $16 / hr.

Job Summary : As a Resident Assistant , you'll provide essential support services to residents, gaining valuable experience that leads to a facility-sponsored CNA trainee program. This role includes classroom instruction, clinical practice, and on-the-job training to prepare you for CNA certification.

Essential Duties :

  • Replenish unit supplies and make unoccupied beds.
  • Transport residents to dining, therapies, and appointments.
  • Assist with meal tray pass and pass water to residents.
  • Maintain residents' rooms and personal belongings.
  • Report changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse.
  • Adhere to infection control practices and facility policies.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions.

Required Skills :

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and interact with residents, families, and visitors.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
