The Boeing Companys Production Engineering team has an exciting opportunity for an Early or a Mid-Level Manufacturing Engineer located in Long Beach or San Diego CA . This position will focus on supporting build integration on a variety of programs across Boeing Commercial Airplanes with a focus on electrical commodity. Our Team coordinates and implements Engineering Changes to Boeing Factories and suppliers all over the world. Additionally we assist with emergent issues from the factory floors process standardization efforts periodic audits and / or quality checks.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
• Participates as a member and leader of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
• Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
• Works with others to develop identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
• Assists in creation and implementing manufacturing plans.
• Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles theories advanced technologies and concepts.
• Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
• Works with professional associations suppliers IPTs and internal customers to develop products skills knowledge and experience.

Typical Education / Experience :

Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master3 years related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Associate-Level (level 2) : $89250 - $120750

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (level 3) : $105400 - $142600
