Title- Project Manager

Location- Reading, PA, Local only, 3 days / wk. in client office

Looking for a Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of software engineering initiatives. The role requires strong project management expertise, the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for software engineering initiatives, from initiation to delivery.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, QA, and business stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.

Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery timelines.

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and project status updates.

Track progress, report project health to leadership, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Support Agile delivery models, promoting best practices across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

10+ years of project management experience managing software development projects.

Proven success managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies, and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Project Management certification (PMP, CSM, or equivalent) preferred.

Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in managing distributed or offshore engineering teams.
