Senior Financial Analyst
Robert Half is working with a northern Iowa manufacturer in their desire to hire a Senior Financial Analyst who is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic value of financial data across the organization. This role supports both operational and strategic decision-making by delivering insightful analysis, reporting, forecasting, and collaborating with internal teams. This can be a remote role if you live within driving distance of the company to support occasional onsite requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive reviews of trial balances and financial statements to ensure proper classification, completeness, and integrity of data.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver detailed financial reports, summaries, and dashboards to support internal and executive-level decision-making.
- Lead the development and evaluation of annual operating plans and long-term financial forecasts aligned to organizational growth and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, verify, and report financial data.
- Provide training and guidance to business units on interpreting financial data, fostering transparency and consistency.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on schedule, maintaining documentation required for audit readiness and compliance.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting and data analysis.
Requirements :
BA in accounting or finance with 5+ years of experience.Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.Ability to quickly understand business operations and key drivers.Aptitude to identify and resolve technical accounting, process, and systems-related issues, with a strategic mindset.Adaptability to thrive in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.Effective collaboration skills to interact across supervisory and management functions.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights to diverse audiences.Self-motivated and innovative, with a track record of initiating and leading change.Commitment to the highest professional standards and integrity.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills; experience with business intelligence tools.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
