Opportunity Details
Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in eastern Iowa that has an opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to assist their team.
Opportunity Overview :
- Level III Trauma
- Schedule : 12 or 24-hour weekday or weekend call shifts, 1 : 5 rotation
- Setting : Inpatient
- Delivery Volume : 65-80 per month
- 40% low-risk patients, 60% high-risk patients
- Duties : OB triage, deliveries, rounding, circumcisions if able, and
- Required Procedures : Deliveries, laceration repairs, surgical gynecology, FHR interpretation, ultrasounds, and amniocentesis
- Support Staff : 4 MDs, 1-2 CNMs, and labor & delivery, post-partum, OR, and ER staff
- EMR : Cerner
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
