Job descriptionCreate and review complete drawing sets in Revit and AutoCAD, including model setup, sheet creation, and coordination with other disciplines. Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable codes. Utilize industry and company software (Outlook, Excel, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Word, AGI 32, and LiquidPlanner) to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Maintain organized documentation throughout all phases of design and construction. Provide guidance and oversight to junior designers to support their technical development. Model professionalism, reliability, and accountability within project teams. Communicate effectively with colleagues, project partners, and other disciplines. Maintain professional appearance, consistent work habits, and strong organizational skills. Contribute positively to Emanuelson-Podas through technical excellence and collaboration. Authorization to work in the U.S. Associate’s degree in Electrical Design or similar 8+ years of relevant electrical design and project management experience Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Medical, dental, and 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off plus 7 paid holidays Professional development and training opportunities
As a remote Senior Electrical Designer , you will play a key role in the design and documentation of lighting, power, and electrical systems for a variety of projects. You will serve as a technical resource within the firm, producing accurate, code-compliant construction documents while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is confident in developing coordinated project documents with limited oversight.
