Advanced Product Center Production Support
This role will support production AND development / prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing / production environment on 2nd Shift.
Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred.
What You Will Do :
Assemble, disassemble, re-assemble, fabricate, solder, repair and / or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments.
Route, dispatch and expedite flow of material.
Check for work correctness. Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies. Perform wire / cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing using hand instruments.
Perform work in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational / technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools
Experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
U.S. Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
