Key Responsibilities : The Fire Life Safety Technician must be certified and is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of fire alarm and suppression systems, emergency lighting, and other life safety systems within buildings. The technician ensures compliance with local fire codes and regulations to ensure the safety of building occupants and assets. This role will be reporting to the Fire Life Safety Manager.

Pay : $50 / hr

Operation and Maintenance :

• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, fire sprinklers, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and other fire protection equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire safety equipment to ensure it meets local codes and standards.

Qualifications :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in fire safety or electrical systems are preferred.

Certifications : Certifications such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Fire Alarm Systems or Fire Life Safety are required.

The Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
