Location : Pennsylvania (Hybrid / In-Office Preferred)

Reports To : Rob Morris, Managing Partner (Visionary)

The firm is now entering its next stage of expansion, one focused on operational discipline, strategic growth, and seamless integration of future acquisitions. To support this vision, RWM is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead firm operations, integrate strategic initiatives, and ensure consistent performance across departments.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced operator who thrives in an environment of accountability, growth, and execution.

The COO will act as both Integrator and Head of Operations, the person responsible for running the business day-to-day, turning vision into reality, and ensuring all departments execute in alignment with the firms goals.

This role combines operational excellence, integration leadership, and internal growth enablement ensuring RWMs marketing and sales efforts, led by Franklin Alliances fractional CMO team (Fixyr), are executed with precision and consistency internally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integrator & Executive Leadership

  • Serve as the Integrator under the EOS-lite framework, driving firm-wide alignment and accountability.
  • Translate Rob Morriss strategic vision into actionable quarterly and annual goals.
  • Lead Level 10 meetings, manage scorecards, and ensure each department meets its KPIs.
  • Own firm-wide P&L management and ensure profitability across service lines.
  • Resolve cross-functional issues and remove barriers to performance and collaboration.

2. Operational Leadership

  • Oversee all aspects of Operations including Client Managers, Accounting, Payroll, Tax, and Administration.
  • Implement and enforce SOPs, standardized workflows, and consistent service delivery.
  • Drive technology adoption and automation (Qount, Soraban, ADP, etc.) across the firm.
  • Manage Prudent and other offshore partners to optimize resource utilization and efficiency.
  • Build and monitor operational KPIs : utilization, realization, client turnaround time, and profitability.
  • Lead capacity planning, project management, and continuous process improvement.
  • 3. Growth Enablement (Partnership withFixyr)

  • Partner closely with Fixyr, Franklin Alliance fractional CMO team, to ensure that marketing and growth strategies are effectively executed within the firm.
  • Hold internal teams accountable for timely delivery of marketing-related initiatives (content, client communication, campaigns, etc.).
  • Oversee progress on lead generation, referral programs, and brand development efforts guided by Fixyr.
  • Support Client Managers and department leads in executing internal sales and growth processes including client retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Provide data and feedback loops to Fixyr for continuous improvement of marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Align internal operations with Fixyrs external growth campaigns to ensure consistent client experience and messaging.
  • 4. M&A Integration Leadership

  • Lead post-acquisition integration for new firms joining the RWM platform.
  • Develop a repeatable 90-day integration playbook covering people, processes, and systems.
  • Coordinate with Finance and HR during pre-close and post-close phases.
  • Ensure cultural alignment, client transition success, and full operational integration.
  • Track and report post-integration ROI and performance improvements.
  • 5. Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and coach department heads to drive performance and accountability.
  • Build leadership capacity across service lines and strengthen firm culture.
  • Partner with HR to optimize recruiting, onboarding, and performance review processes.
  • Champion The RWM Way a culture of collaboration, quality, and ownership.

    Qualifications

  • 10+ years in professional services, accounting, or operational leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving operational performance, accountability, and execution.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing or business development teams.
  • Familiarity with EOS or similar operating systems strongly preferred.
  • Prior M&A integration experience or multi-location firm leadership is a plus.
  • Analytical, organized, and capable of managing both strategy and detail simultaneously.
  • Strong people leadership and communication skills, a natural builder and unifier.

  • Base Salary : $150,000 $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
