- Shift is 1st Monday through Saturday. Days off are Sunday and Monday. Hours are 6am - 2 : 30pm.
- While worker is training it will be Monday through Friday Hours are 6am - 2 : 30pm
- Reason for role additional coverage needed. Addition to the team
- Candidates will interview with manager over Teams
- Manager is not open to candidates who have limited work authorization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Responsible for sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results. Trouble shoot out of spec resultsEnsure that daily records are kept and maintainedData Entry, tracking and interpretationFollowing QC Hold Procedures for out-of-specified productsMust possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's)Will assist in the discipline to maintain a 5-S rating of an "A"Be flexible in working hoursEquipment calibration and troubleshootingPerform other duties as assignedParticipate in continuous improvementMust meet with the supervisor daily covering any issues associated with productionMonitor all CCP records and frequenciesFollow-up customer complaints and correspond with productionManage product specificationsCoordinate HACCP teamMaintain policy and implement policies and procedures including training relating to GMP's, Food Safety and regulatory complianceExceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environmentMust be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiencyDemonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and duties as they relate to food safety and regulatory complianceQUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum bachelor's degree (Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related science) or an addition 4+ years of equivalent work experienceHACCP certified required, SQF Practitioner preferredKnowledge of Microbiological, Physical, Chemical and Organoleptic TestingEnsure Safeway policies, procedures, and workplace safety are adhered toImplement Plant Sanitation programs as directed by the Quality ManagementEvaluate trends from test results and develop plans to correct deficiencies and communicate these plans to employees, and managementImplement quality control processes / testing to meet the expectations of Safeway quality standards and ensure that the product(s) are within specificationExcellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibilityGood analytical and problem-solving skillsUtilize and maintain inventory on laboratory and sanitation suppliesGood oral / written communication skillsAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited supervisionProficient in window-based PC programsLab Test Equipment / MaintenanceMust follow current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Sanitation Practices, Food Safety and Occupational SafetyAbility to lift up to 50lbsADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
