Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Stepdown Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department Holding / CICU team. This unique travel opportunity involves caring for inpatient or CICU-level hold patients within the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate has a strong progressive care (PCU) background and is confident in managing complex cardiac and medical patients. Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to CICU-level and inpatient hold patients located in the ED. Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, heart failure, sepsis, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, overdose, and post-cardiac procedures (stent, ICD / pacer insertions, cardioversions). Titrate and manage critical drips, including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient flow. Utilize advanced respiratory support equipment (BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, High Flow Nasal Cannula). Interpret EKGs and arterial blood gases (ABGs), and participate in emergency / code situations as needed. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience, including a strong PCU background within the last year ED experience preferred but not required BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required EKG test required upon arrival EPIC experience required for first-time travelers First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years total RN experience (no first-timers with only 1 year) HCRR-PN About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
