Job description

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team and specialize in selling industrial gaskets, commercial hoses, and related products.
  • In this role, you will build relationships with new and existing clients in industries such as manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, and other industrial sectors.
  • You will identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Business Development & Lead Generation Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, networking, and following up on leads.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential customers in target industries.
  • Client Relationship Management Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their gasket and hose needs.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
  • Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Product Expertise & Sales Presentations Demonstrate a deep understanding of gaskets, commercial hoses, and related applications.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, and performance specifications.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Territory Management Travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and close sales opportunities.
  • Strategically manage time and resources to maximize coverage and revenue.
  • Reporting & Metrics Achieve sales targets and provide regular updates on territory performance, including sales forecasts and pipeline activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Market Insights Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging customer demands.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams for product development and improvement.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role in industrial or manufacturing sales.
  • Strong knowledge of gaskets, hoses, or other industrial equipment preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience selling to industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, or industrial maintenance.
  • Technical background or knowledge of industrial products.
