Flaggers are responsible for safely controlling the flow of traffic around construction work sites. Flaggers also are required to set up work zones by using signs, cone patterns, stop / slow paddles and hand signals to warn traffic of any potential hazards in the work-zone. Flaggers work under the direction of an Operations and Safety manager as well as the onsite foreman. The pay is hourly and employees receive a weekly pacheck. RCSS operates across Connecticut and may require travel to various jobsites. Potential candidates will be required to obtain an ATSSA Certification, a valid driver's license, transportation, maintain availability during normal working hours and have a working cellphone for communication purposes.
