A new urgent care center affiliated with a progressive, community hospital in southern New Hampshire is seeking a family practice physician with urgent care experience or an ED physician looking to transition toward retirement in an urgent care environment. It is in a family setting close to Boston, the mountains and seacoast, with no sales or income tax! Candidates need to be proficient with suturing, splinting, EKG interpretation, eye/nose foreign body removal, and interpretation of x-rays. Shifts are typically 9a-9p or 7a-3p/3p-9p depending upon need and availability. The urgent care averages 30 patients per 12 hour shift and considers 125 hours/month full time.
