Job Description
Mechanical Contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation, and maintenance is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a HVAC Estimator on a full time basis. The Estimator will report directly to the Director of Estimating, be responsible for assisting in developing cost estimates on hi-rise and interior projects, under the direct supervision of senior management.
Description :
- Review construction drawings / documents and scope of work to bid.
- Perform quantity takeoff and pricing for bidding purposes
- Obtain pricing for material and equipment that is to be utilized for each project
- Prepare cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.
- Prepare RFI’s and other written correspondence to clients
- Maintain organized documentation, specifications, estimates, submittals and contract drawings.
