Job description

Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Part-Time | Nights (Sat & Sun)

Location : Neptune, NJ 07754

Contract Details :

  • Schedule : Saturday & Sunday, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM (2x12s)
  • Hours / Week : 24 hours
  • Duration : 13 weeks with potential extension
  • Pay : Up to $2,088 / week (Traveler rate)

Job Summary :

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for weekend night shifts. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide respiratory therapy and manage ventilators under medical direction.
  • Assist in intubations and set up supportive respiratory equipment.
  • Conduct patient assessments, collaborate with medical teams, and provide disease education.
  • Build rapport with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Requirements : Education :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

    • Licenses & Certifications (Required) :

  • Valid New Jersey RRT license
  • Valid NJ Respiratory Care License
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • PALS

    • Skills :

  • Strong adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and patient-focus
  • Ability to lift / push / pull a minimum of 5 lbs and stand for at least 1 hour / day
