We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Nov 10, 2025. The opportunity offers a flexible schedule of either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with 6 : 30am to 4 : 00pm shifts. The Psychologist will provide leadership and clinical oversight for mental health programs within a correctional facility, conducting evaluations and coordinating care to promote positive patient outcomes. Job Details Location : Arizona Start Date : Nov 10, 2025 LOA : 52 days Provider Type Needed : Psychologist Schedule : Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 6 : 30am-4 : 00pm Responsibilities and Duties Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits Conduct rounds in all units Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate / modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care Additional Information Must hold an active Arizona license Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required Experience in corrections is preferred, but not required Assignment start date depends on completion of DOC clearance and required documentation Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
