Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Irvine, CA for a Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer / Manager. The role involves developing and managing embedded firmware, collaborating with other engineers to integrate software and hardware, debugging and resolving issues, and leading firmware regression. The Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer / Manager will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring project deadlines are met and providing mentorship and guidance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in debugging and developing real-time embedded firmware
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and applications
  • Familiarity with SiFive RISC Architecture is a plus
  • Experience with firmware verification in UVM environment with SystemVerilog is a plus
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA; hybrid possible
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in a managerial role is a plus
