Hi there, I'm Alex. I'm building Omniscient Digital and need some help scaling out my content creation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Writing approach : Someone who takes a "journalistic" approach to creating content. I want you to interview me, take transcripts from my podcast, sift through research we've put out, and, against a content outline, turn all those disparate points into something cohesive and beautiful.
• Depth : Someone who cares more about truth and substance than style and format. Ultimately, I don't care about Oxford commas or style guides. I care about writing things that are useful, true, and distinct.
• Subject matter expertise : Someone who is deeply curious and keeps up to date with modern SEO, and now, GEO (generative engine optimization) practices. You should be enthusiastic about learning stuff related to AI.

Content strategy & expectations

On AI - I don't care if you use it. You probably should use it. What I care about is a beautiful and valuable end product - I don't care how you get to that point. We'll be publishing on my personal site, my company's site, and also on high authority publications in the industry. I see this as being, ideally, a long term engagement where we plan cadence of content output that works for both of our bandwidth.

Who this is for

I've also got an aversion to bland, crappy, rehashed content. If you like phoning it in, this isn't the gig for you. If you want to grow as a writer and marketer and produce work you're proud of, this is a good opportunity. You don't have to have a massive amount of experience, but if you haven't published anything online before, don't apply. I can't train someone fully from the start; you need to have some grounding in the space, but mostly just talent and drive.
