About the Role

Our client, a well-established and respected law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate and Business Attorney to join their team. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned associate who excels in client relations, enjoys transactional and advisory work, and is interested in growing into a long-term leadership or succession role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, business law, and general corporate matters, and be comfortable managing client relationships directly. This role is ideal for an attorney ready to step into a practice with a loyal client base and the potential for significant professional growth.

Responsibilities

Handle a wide range of real estate transactions including commercial and residential sales, acquisitions, leases, and financing.

Advise clients on business formation, corporate governance, contracts, and M&A matters.

Manage ongoing client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, operating agreements, and closing documents.

Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to transition clients and develop the firm's practice.

Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in [State].

Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate and / or business law.

Proven ability to manage clients and handle transactions independently.

Strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing with the firm long-term.

(Preferred) Existing book of business or established client relationships.
