YOUR ROLE AS A TAZIKI'S SHIFT LEADER :

  • Serving guests and making meaningful connections with them
  • Opening & closing tasks
  • Being responsible for the restaurant and the team when a manager isn't on duty
  • Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
  • Mastering menu and product knowledge
  • Supporting or working stations when needed (including kitchen)
  • Prepping food and doing side work
  • Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
  • Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
  • Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
  • Proper food handling and storage of food products
  • Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
  • THE IDEAL TEAM MEMBER :

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Prior food service experience preferred
  • Strong leadership , guest service , and verbal communication skills with guests / team members
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment , balancing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Energetic , ready to learn, loves fresh food
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Dependable , reliable, and trustworthy
  • ALL EMPLOYEES MUST :

  • Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
  • Obtain a Food Manager's certification shortly after beginning employment
  • YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS / HOURS :

    A typical workday at Taziki's may look like :

    You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
