ChildNet, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit community-based care (CBC) agency servicing Broward and Palm Beach County. We are contracted with the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, to provide case management support to abused, abandoned, and neglected children. ChildNet is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and employs over 450 staff at its location in Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Job Summary : The Visitation Program Monitor provides direct supervision of visitation between children and their parents and / or other family members.

The list below are intended to provide an overview of the essential functions of the job. This is not an exhaustive list of all functions and responsibilities that the position may be required to provide.

• Monitor supervised visitations between children and their parents and other family members. Visitation may be conducted in visitation rooms or in other locations in the community.
• Ensure appropriate interactions between family and children during supervised visits.
• Document in the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) the outcome of all visitations that are scheduled within 48 hours of the completed visitation.
• Respond to incoming e-mails and phone calls
• Contact Case Management staff with any concerns and / or pertinent information
• Perform other duties as assigned.
