Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist in an advanced Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Akron, Ohio. Akron is a vibrant city that offers something for everyone. In your role as a Respiratory Therapist, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with complex respiratory and medical needs. Our facility, known for its innovative patient-centered approach, offers specialized long-term acute care and rehabilitation services. This means you'll be engaging in meaningful work with a distinct purpose, impacting patient recovery and outcomes positively.

Your typical day will involve working with fellow healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art setting, where there is often a low patient-to-therapist ratio. This enables you to focus on individualized patient care. Responsibilities will include implementing respiratory therapist-driven protocols, working on extubation and weaning processes, and ensuring optimal respiratory function outcomes.

Registered Respiratory Therapist, Long Term Acute Care

Experience : 2 years

RT-OH

Certifications : BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-NBRC- RRT

OR

Certified Respiratory Therapist, Long Term Acute Care

Experience : 2 years

RT-OH

Certifications : ACLS-AHA; CERT-NBRC- RRT
