My client is a leading, fast-growing manufacturer of specialty metal products that supply a variety of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and Agricultural. They have a very impressive production campus here in IL, with a range of production capabilities allowing them to vertically integrate. Because of impressive growth in some of their most profitable business segments, they are seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to join the team, and be future leaders at the company.
Job Description
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with design teams to improve product manufacturability
- Play key role in capital expenditure projects
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Provide technical support to manufacturing departments
- Participate in safety and quality audits
- Continuously learn about new technologies and methods in the manufacturing industry

The Successful Applicant
A Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or related field4+ years\' experience in a hands-on Engineering roleProficient understanding of manufacturing systems and processesTrack record driving cost savings / efficiency improvements to manufacturing - knowledge of formal LEAN principles is highly desiredStrong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailGood understanding of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing industryWhat's on Offer
