Our Medical / Surgical Team is proud to offer a dynamic and supportive environment for healthcare professionals.Our Medical / Surgical Unit features 30 beds and a collaborative team which includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and a dedicated unit secretary. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6, and CNAs support care with a 1 : 10 ratio, ensuring a balanced workload and strong teamwork.We also have a Telemetry Technician stationed on the Med / Surg unit, just outside the nursing station, who monitors all patients on telemetry or cardiac monitors across our inpatient units and Emergency Department-providing an extra layer of safety and support.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role :

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
