Senior Accountant - Billing

The Senior Accountant - Billing at Arch Amenities Group is responsible for financial reporting and analysis related to all revenue processes and reconciliation processes for rebillable expenses. Additionally, the Senior Accountant Billing will support various complex invoice processes, such as management fee billing. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Senior Accountant - Billing plays a key role in streamlining and enhancing current processes to support operational excellence and scalability. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of collaboration and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • As a member of the Billing Team, oversee the preparation and review of invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and annual revenue summaries and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile various related balance sheet accounts monthly and rebillable expense reimbursement analysis monthly.
  • Responsible for specific monthly invoice processes, including upload templates, for management fee billing and other complex billing items.
  • Responsible for documenting revenue recognition policies and contract reviews, to assist the Revenue Manager.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing billing and revenue recognition processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Assist in annual audit requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, plus minimum of 5+ years in financial operations, billing, revenue recognition (ASC 606), contract reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills are required in this role.
  • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Able to show initiative and make decisions.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus.
