Social Worker

This is full time, temporary for 2 months starting ASAP.

This Social Worker will work primarily from synagogue locations (in the Valley and the City) and the Family Resource Center. The social worker provides a variety of services including intake assessment, case management, support group facilitation, navigation/linkage to other programs and resources within and outside the agency, brief counseling, and consultation/presentations for synagogue clergy, volunteers, and staff.

Qualifications:

• MSW or MA/ MS in Psych, must be eligible to register with the BBS for licensure, does not need to be registered

• CA Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance

•Case management and clinical skills required

•Must have knowledge of Jewish community, Jewish religion and customs and ability to work well in a synagogue environment
