Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Tax and Accounting professional to oversee the accurate preparation and filing of our company’s federal, state, and international tax returns. Reporting to the Corporate Tax Director, this role will play a key part in developing and executing effective tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities :
Oversee Tax Filings : Manage the preparation, review, and timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns and other related filings.Develop Tax Strategies : Create and implement strategic tax plans to optimize compliance and efficiency across all jurisdictions.Ensure Compliance & Controls : Maintain strong internal controls over all tax processes and support IRS or internal audits as needed.Monitor Legislation : Stay current on tax law changes, assess their impact, and advise management on opportunities and risks.Drive Process Improvement : Identify and implement enhancements in tax procedures, reporting accuracy, and team coordination.Qualifications and Requirements :
Education & Experience : 5+ years of experience in a tax manager or public accounting role; CPA license preferred.Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of individual, corporate, and partnership tax law, compliance, and reporting requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.Analytical & Organizational Skills : Strong accounting, research, and project management abilities with a proven track record of process improvement.Communication & Collaboration : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Technology Proficiency : Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Sage, Lacerte, and ProSeries software.Benefits and Perks :

The annual base salary for this position is $120000 - $150000 per year (excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
